What should youcharge for this?
The Studio is the back office for jewellery makers. It prices every piece properly and keeps the rest of the business straight.

£120What the price has to carry:
- Materials, costed piece by piece
- Your hour, at a rate that pays you
- Overheads, landed on every bench hour
- A profit buffer from your real spending
- Wholesale markup and margin, kept apart
- Retail step, so a stockist never beats your own shop

The Studio weighs all of it, on every piece you make.
that's £50 a piece she wasn't charging
Built at a real bench, by a jeweller whose work ended up in Anthropologie and the Museum of London. She priced it wrong for years first. The Studio is the system she needed.
Someone picks it upand asks how much.
There's a pause you'll recognise. The number comes out a little lower than you meant, because you're not completely sure what it should be.
Nobody warned you about this bit. You didn't start making jewellery to run a back office.

Right now the business lives in about six places. A notebook by the bench. January's spreadsheet. Your bank app. Your DMs. A drawer of receipts. The rest is in your head.
None of it is wrong. It just never adds up to one picture.
There is a real number.It isn't a feeling.
You're not pricing your worth. You're costing a product: materials, your hours at a rate you set, and a fair slice of what it costs to run the thing.
The Studio does that sum on every piece, and puts wholesale and retail side by side so one never eats the other.
The first number will probably look high. That's years of guessing talking. And if you'd rather charge differently, your number wins. The maths just keeps up.

Silver tripled.Your prices didn't.
Metal has been repricing itself all year. The Studio keeps a cupboard of your materials and what you paid for them, so when silver jumps you can see which pieces stopped paying you, piece by piece.
Update a cost once and every price that uses it knows.
Which piecesactually pay you.
Every piece keeps its own money story. What it cost, what it sold for, where it went, what you kept.
The bestseller that leaves you two pounds stops hiding behind the one that pays the month. And at the end of the year, one tap hands the lot to your accountant.

Who built it
Built by someone whopriced it wrong for years.
The Studio was built by Megan Collins. She started in a London bedroom so small the desk touched the bed, waitressing in Hatton Garden for £6.31 an hour and making jewellery in every spare minute.
That work ended up in Anthropologie, the Museum of London and Yorkshire Sculpture Park, and past six figures in sales. None of it came from being special. It came from doing the right work in the right order, and holding on to the numbers while she did it.
For the first few years she guessed every price, and guessed low. Every tool in here is something she needed at her own bench and couldn't find anywhere.
The plan
£24.99 a month.Seven days free first.
One price, everything in it. No tiers to work out and no add-ons for the useful bits.
And so there are no surprises: the subscription buys the tools. The courses are separate one-off purchases, and the Visibility Lounge, the group calls and 1:1 time are on their own separate plans. The Studio Assistant comes with an allowance once your subscription starts, and you can buy a bigger one if you want it. You never need any of them to use The Studio.
- Unlimited pieces, with photos, variants and collections
- The pricing calculator, your hourly rate and your overheads
- The materials cupboard with costs and stock levels
- Orders and your money ledger
- Keyword drops with your own public page
- The Instagram Toolkit, running on your own account
- Your own currency and five ring size systems
- A Studio Assistant allowance, from the day your subscription starts
Not included: any course, the Visibility Lounge, group calls or 1:1 time. The Studio Assistant starts with your subscription rather than with the trial.
The trial, in full
Auto-renewing trials are usually written to be skimmed past. Here's ours, plainly.
- You add a card when you make your account, and nothing is charged for seven days. That way it carries on without a gap if you keep it.
- The trial is the full toolkit: unlimited pieces, pricing, materials, orders, money, drops and the Instagram Toolkit. Nothing in it is watered down.
- The one thing that waits is the Studio Assistant. It starts when your subscription does.
- Nothing is charged until day seven. On day seven it becomes £24.99 a month, billed in pounds sterling.
- Cancel any time from your account, in a couple of clicks. Cancel before day seven and you are not charged at all. No minimum term, no annual lock in.
- If you stop later, nothing is deleted. Your work is kept exactly as you left it, and all of it comes back the moment you start again.
